Tim Nelson is the founder of Platypus Plumbing, which provides plumbing services in  the Thurston county area . Tim has been a Journeyman Plumber for more than 15 years and has a passion for providing quality plumbing services to his friends and neighbors. 

Tim was born and raised in Alaska where he received his Journeyman Plumber license in 2002. He moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2012 and soon after met his wife Kirsten. He then received his Oregon and Washington plumbing licenses, and after many years working for corporate plumbing companies he decided to start his own small family plumbing business. 

Tim  can be found spending time with his Wife Kirsten and 3 small children. He is also known to enjoy mountain biking and exploring the great outdoors with his family. He loves a good sandwich and going on weekend getaways to his favorite towns Leavenworth WA and Bend OR.
